The start of our blogging journey

“Start a blog” they said. “It would be fun” they said.

But guess what? When we created our first blog in 2002, our blogging journey was anything but fun.

Like many people, blogging started off as a hobby.

Back then, we had no idea that publishing a blog could be a business, let alone a profitable one.

Without an actual structure in place, we ran into so many roadblocks not just to monetize (our profits were a grand total of “zero” for the longest time), but we struggled to bring traffic and get people to actually read or comment on our posts.

Blogging quickly turned into a highly-demanding, time-consuming, frustrating and expensive activity.

Our blog experience today

Our passion for helping others avoid common blogging mistakes drove us to start this community where we teach beginner and advanced bloggers from all over the world how to run successful and profitable blogs.

We put together strategies that can work with different blogging niches. It took tons of trial and error, long months of research, testing and learning from qualified experts. Also, enough coffee to power a small nation.

Now we want to share our blogging tips and strategies to make your journey easier. We want you to start, grow and make money from your blog without the extra hassle of piecing together articles that leave out key information.

Running a blog doesn’t have to burn you out. It doesn’t have to take over your life. Blogging definitely shouldn’t make you feel frustrated because your content is getting lost in search engines.
